The Vice Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Frank Esiwo Ozue, has regained freedom after three days in captivity following his abduction on Sunday by some gunmen in Ughelli.
Mr. Ozue was freed on Wednesday night after a sum seven million Naira was paid according to family source.
Taking to his official Facebook page, the vice chairman expressed thanks to God for his release from the arms-wielding gunmen suspected to be extremists
Confirming the release via phone, the public relations officer of the Delta state police command, Edafe Bright said the chairman has reunited with his family.
