The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the redeployment of Engineer Tayo Bamgbose-Martin to the state Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development as Commissioner.
Bamgbose-Martin replaced Town Planner Idris Salako who resigned his appointment on Monday, 5 September, 2022 in the wake of the collapse of the uncompleted 7-storey building at Lekki in which seven people died.
The state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, announced the appointment of Bamgbose-Martin on Wednesday, 7 September, 2022 in Lagos.
Until his new appointment, Bamgbose-Martin was the state Commissioner for Special Duties.
