The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, is to lead the government team to a resumed fact- finding meeting with the House of Representatives next Thursday.
At the rescheduled meeting this Thursday, the Academic Staff Union of Universities was conspicuously absent.
In its submission, NITDA insists none of the three payment systems in contention, IPPIS, UTAS and U3PS, passed its integrity test for the payment of university workers’ Salaries.
On its part, the Salaries and Wages Commission said the government bent backwards to jerk the Salaries of Professors to N750,000 but that ASUU insisted on N1 million.
At the end of the four-hour long meeting, the Speaker expressed concerns about the union’s absence
