The Imo State University chapter of the Academic staff union of Universities ASUU says it has not pulled out of the ongoing nationwide ASUU strike.
In a Statement by the chapter Chairperson of ASUU in the University, Odinakachukwu Ejiogu the union is still in solidarity with the union at the national level.
The Chairperson advised the public to disregard the news of the University pulling out of the strike.
He noted that the University management never declared strike and wonders why it should call off the strike.
Stories had done the round on Social Media earlier of the withdrawal of the Imo State University from the 7 Months old Industrial Action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities.
