At least five persons have been injured after a building under construction in Ibadan collapsed.
According to an eyewitness, the building went down around 5:30am around Awolowo Avenue and the injured have been rushed to a nearby hospital.
The Zonal Coordinator of National Emergency Management Agency, Akiode Saheed confirmed the number of injured persons as five.
Men of the State Fire Service, Federal Road Safety Commission, and other security agencies, have been deployed to the scene to minimise casualty rates.
No life has been reported lost at the time of filing this report.
