The Air Task Force Operation Hadin Kai has killed no less than 49 Boko Haram terrorists in Sambisa Forest hideouts in Borno state.
The airstrikes were conducted by the Nigerian Air Force with two Super Tucano fighter jets targeting the terrorists’ camps.
A Counter-insurgency expert disclosed that the targeted insurgents’ camps are located in Gargash, Minna and Gazuwa communities of Bama Council.
According to him, the airstrikes targeted a moving truck of the terrorists in Gargash killing all its occupants.
The security expert also revealed that the fighter jet hits on the hideouts led to the killing of over 40 Boko Haram fighters while others fled with gunshot wounds.
