Chief Imam of Al-Habibiyya Islamic Society in Nigeria, Fuad Adeyemi, has urged leaders in the country to embrace justice and fairness as the foundations for peaceful coexistence and the prosperity of all nations.
He stated this while delivering the Juma’at sermon on Friday in Abuja, in the presence of APC Presidential candidate Ahmed Bola Tinubu and several politicians.
The Imam, whose sermon was titled “Hope for the Hopeless,” drew the attention of leaders at all levels to the need to ensure that whatever is due to citizens is given to them without bias.
He urged Nigerians to elect credible leaders who can better serve the people, saying that if good leaders are elected, the country will retain its rightful place in the committee of nations.
Imam Adeyemi, attributed the current security situation in the country to lack of social justice as the country is blessed with countless natural resources for development to thrive.
He reminded Nigerians of the need to remain hopeful in the face of security challenges in the country.
The Chief Imam who drew the attention of Nigerians to remember Allah in their daily affairs also challenged them to always be on the side of Allah.
